Final Fantasy VII Available Today on PSN, FFXIV Announced 06/02/2009 10:12 AM Sony's e3 Press Conference just concluded, and with that came some major, major Final Fantasy News. First off, Final Fantasy VII will be available today in the US Playstation Network, so now you won't have to spend a small fortune to obtain a copy. Along with that, a new Final Fantasy XIII trailer was shown to the public, showcasing more English voice acting and reaffirming the 2010 release date. Lastly, Final Fantasy XIV, yes, Fourteen, was announced, and is Online, in an apparent sequel to Final Fantasy XI. This was billed as a Playstation Exclusive, so no XIV for Xbox 360 owners. Final Fantasy IV Sequel Released, FFXIII 360 Shown 06/01/2009 09:48 AM Final Fantasy IV : The After Years was released on Wiiware today, for 800 points. The sequel involves Ceodore, who is the son of Cecil and Rosa apparently. In addition to this, Microsoft showed the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII at their e3 Press Conference. Expect more news as the week goes on! News 2.0 02/11/2009 12:11 AM Finally, the news system is almost modern. For years, well, when the site existed anyway, the main site has run using a table which loaded a HTML file. Briefly, a system called Newspro was used, but that was an even bigger pain then editing a HTML file. Now, however, the system parses a RSS feed, and loads it all pretty like on the front page. Easy for us, easy for you, the reader, so everyone wins. The layout will be tweaked so it actually displays nicely, but for now, this is just one huge system in bringing NeoMidgar up-to-date. A new layout is currently being worked on, so look for that in the near future. Content is also being written, with videos and awesome, high res pictures being uploaded as well.
